In this course, students will learn about the Department of Transportation's (DOT) requirements for shipping hazardous materials using private, common, and contract motor carriers on domestic, public highways.
This course is intended for those who ship hazardous materials by public highway as well as workers who package, load and unload and drivers of vehicles that ship hazardous materials by highway and meets the requirements for the transportation of hazardous materials by highway found in 49 CFR Part 177 and 177.816 of the Hazardous Materials Regulations (HMR).
